Right now is the best time of the year to have your fork or rear shock serviced. Woodland Cycles offers quick, competitively priced service without the hassle of having to remove suspension components and ship your fork/shock back to the manufacturer or service center.  Most services can be done in-house in under 7 days.

Suspension is one of the most important components on a mountain bike and requires regular maintenance. A basic lower leg or air can service is recommended at least once a year or sooner for most air-sprung suspensions. These basic services will maintain the performance of the suspension, maintain any warranties, as well as helps to prevent more costly repairs like scratched or worn stanchions.

-Lower Leg Service (Fox, Rock Shox, Lefty)……………….$90-100 plus seal kit

(including seal kits/wipers/fluid)

It’s time to kick off the summer with our featured gravel rides. Check out some of the best gravel and B-roads Otsego county has to offer. Hang out at the shop after for free refreshments and great company! All rides leave Woodland Cycles @ 6:00PM.

Easy (beginner) Gravel – (6:00PM) – Ride at your own pace. For people who are new to gravel riding or want to take it easy, learn new routes, and enjoy the scenery and the company. There will still be a good amount of climbing but climb at your own pace. This is a no-drop ride. Refreshments after the ride. The ride is approximately 1-1.5 hours.

Expert Gravel –  (6:00PM) – Faster pace gravel ride for people who have ridden gravel before. More elevation gain, but regroup at the top of climbs. More technical descending. This is still not a “hammer-fest,” but for experienced riders who want a faster paced ride. Expert gravel is a no-drop ride.  Refreshments after the ride. The ride is approximately 1-1.5 hours

With the trails drying out, now is a good time to test ride the bike of your dreams on over 40 Miles of grade A single track just 15 min from the shop. Our local trails are comprised of rocks, roots, drops, berms, and punchy climbs to really put the bikes through their paces.
